Today we were organized for a short trip to the West Hill. We set out by the school bus at 7:30 a.m. The weather was pleasure and every one of us was excited. After two hour’s ride, we arrived there at nine thirty. We began our programs the moment as we got off from the bus. We played games on the hillside and swimming in the river. After that we had our picnic lunch. In the afternoon we walked along the river, that winds around the hills. We took a lot of photo and enjoyed ourselves very much. Time past quickly and we had to come back.It was over five o’clock that we returned school. What a good trip we had today! I’ll never forget it.

I get poor grade at school. My dad says I must try hard, because he wants me go to university. He thinks I’m lazy, or it’s not true! I work really hard! I’ve tried to talk to my mother but she says I have to work so hard as my brother did. But my brother always gets excellent grades even if she doesn’t study hard. It’s not fair! An only thing I like is art. My teacher says I’m the better student she’s had for years. When I told my dad recent, all he said was, “You mustn’t waste your time in art!” I really don’t know what to do!
I know it hard to start a new life in the strange city. However, just staying at home doing nothing but surfing the Internet is not good for you. You’d better to go out and join to some social activities. By doing this, you can get to knowing more people around you. But it would be a good idea to help other if possible and show us you are open and friend as well.
As time going on, people will know you better and like to make friend with you.
The other day after work, I was walking down the street while I saw a boy riding a nice unicycle, one of those bicycle with only one wheel. Dressing in all pink from head to toe, he was singing a song which was sounded like a kid’s song. I thought he must be total crazy. Just then, a lady dropped 20-dollar bill on the ground, but he didn’t realize it and started to walk away. The guy in pink picked out the money and gave it back to her. After that, he rode on but soon disappeared before the lady could thank him. How a strange and good guy!
A pioneer of the sky, Amelia Earhart, was famous for one of her great achievements. She was the first woman fly around the world alone.
Amelia saw an airplane in the first time when she was eight years old. She would never have
dreamed that one day she will be a great pilot. But her first flight made her interesting in flying.
Also, her flying teacher was one of the very few women at the time whom knew how to fly. This
inspired Amelia to learn to fly as well as.
In 1927 he read about a man named Charles Lindbergh who became a first person to fly
across the Atlantic Ocean alone. This was very dangerously at that time. But she overcame all the
difficulty and was indeed a great hero.
One day, Dad and I was taking a walk by the lake when a boy rode by with a very high speed. Suddenly, we heard the loud scream. We turned around and saw the boy struggling in the lake, crying out help. Daddy and I ran towards him quickly and had pulled him out of the water. However, the boy rode away immediate without saying “Thank you”. I felt disappointing at his behavior. To my surprises, the boy came back with hot drinks and dry towels several minutes late. Seeing this, I knew I had misunderstood him and felt ashamed of me
Several days ago, Li Hua, one of my roommate, bought a bag of
snacks from a supermarket. We invited to enjoy them. However,
after eating , all of us get poisoned and had stomachaches with our
faces pale. We were quick sent to a nearby hospital. The doctor
examined us and gave him some medicine. Unluckily, we were out of
danger soon before taking medicine. This accident made me to realize
the seriousness of the food safety problem. I sincerely hope that the
whole society should take notice of food safe.
Recently, our school has held the meaningful discussion on whether it is reasonable for middle school students to have classes on weekends. Some of our classmates believe we should have classes on weekends because we can make fully use of free time to review the lessons we had learnt. Some others are against the opinion, saying we had better to have a good rest on weekends so that we can work effective during the weekdays. The rest agree with neither of the opinion. They have the view which keeping the balance between work and play are important for us. They suggest one day of the weekend should used to learn our lessons and during the other day we do something interested or have a rest.
Last weekend, my mother and I went to a shoe shop to buy a pair of new shoe for me. When we got to there, I saw a foreign lady talking to a salesgirl. In Britain you’re not allowed to drive a car once you’re over seventeen. To drive a car, you had to take a driving test. If you don’t pass a driving test that is required, you can take it again a few weeks late. When you have passed by your test, you’re allowed to go on drive as long as you like, if you are healthy. After 1904 everyone was allowed to drive, even children. Since 1904 car drivers asked to have a license, but they didn’t have to take a test until 1935. In the early day of car driving, cars were not allowed to go fast than four miles an hour.
I have just got some good news to tell to you. I win a national prize for painting last week. My father was so pleasing that he suggested I go to England for a holiday. I’d like to staying there for half a month, visiting place of interest or practicing my English as well. We’ve been writing to each for nearly a year now. I have often dreamed of talk face to face with you. I imagine you’ll be at vacation yourself by that time. Perhaps we could go out do some sightseeing together.
One day when I was on my way to school, I saw Jack, a student of Grade 3 in our school. He riding along the street. Suddenly a car what was running towards at him knocked him down. Jack was hurt seriously. The driver was such afraid that he drove away quickly, leaving Tom helplessly on the spot. Luckily I saw what had happened but remembered the numbers of the car. I reported this to the police. In the same time I went up to help Jack and sent him to a nearest hospital. Now the driver has been caught and will be punished for her wrong doing.
Harvard dares us to dream big to aspire(渴求) to change the world. Here on this Commencement Day, we are probably thinking of grand destination and big adventures that await ourselves. My experience here reminded me how important it is for researchers to communicate our knowledge to those who need it. But that’s an impact every one of us can make!More than never before, our society emphasizes science and innovation. But an equalimportant emphasis should be on distributing knowledge we have to where it’s needed. Change the world doesn’t mean that everyone has to find the next big thing. It can be as simple as becoming better communicators, and finding more creative ways to pass on to the knowledge we have to people in their local community. Our society also needs to recognize that the equal distribution of knowledge is a pivotal(关键) step of human development, and work to bring this into real.

His boss got very angry when Tom told him why he was late. “Work is very important than football !” he shouted.
