It was my first day in Hangzhou , the Chinese city famous for its 61 (nature) beauty and history and I didn’t have much time to spare. I wanted to see 62 much of the city as possible in the two days before I was to return to Guangzhou. My first task was to decide where 63 (go) and how to get there. I took out my guidebook in which there was a lot of information about the city’s well-known tourist attractions and started to read. At the moment 64 attractive young lady 65 noticed my book came up to me and introduced 66 (she). She said her name was Miss Bai, and she kindly offered to show me around the city. I was happy and was about to accept her suggestion when she suggested we first 67 (go) to the West Lake and walk along the Broken Bridge. I quite liked the idea of visiting the West Lake but wasn’t so sure about 68 (cross) the Broken Bridge. As it was 69 (break), did she expect me to jump across? And I could’ t swim, so if I fell in the I would be drowned. That was clearly not an attractive idea so I 70 (polite) refused her invitation, closed my book and walked away.
